MOVIE NETWORK CHANNELS
Movie Network Channels (MNC) is a Joint Venture comprising of the four major movie studios Disney, Warner Brothers, MGM and Village Roadshow.
With the help of The Playroom, MNC was able to transition smoothly from an in-house video service to an independent platform at the Playroom. Our aim was to automate as much of the process as possible from the arrival of tape or digital file to on air, follow our philosophy of “in once, out to many.”
As Movie Network looks to extend their video IP onto additional Foxtel and other services MNC's partnership with The Playroom helps to provide strategy, services and implementation to realise this potential. For MNC, online video serves not only to promote the network's channel programming, but also to create a new revenue stream of its own through advertising and other pay per view channels, including iTunesTM and YouTubeTM.
