Cricket Australia is the custodian of the game in Australia. Part of their remit is to drive and consolidate revenue-raising and new business activities for Australian cricket, incorporating Cricket Digital Active, the digital division of Cricket Australia.
The Playroom provided Cricket Australia with the service to ingest, store and redistribute valuable video content to a variety of clients.
With our help, Cricket Australia was able to provide an official home online to the wealth of copyright video material containing action, memorable moments and classic matches from cricket played on Australian soil. The Australian Cricket Archive contains an impressive array of international cricket played in Australia from 1976 to the present day. This valuable video content includes thrilling and fiercely contested encounters of international cricket played in Australia, featuring unforgettable moments, classic matches and heroic performances from some of the world’s finest players including Shane Warne, Dennis Lillee, Kim Hughes, Allan Border, Steve Waugh and Rod Marsh.
Our solution for Cricket Australia included a searchable online database that provided registered users with an easy to use friendly experience to find, view and create requests to purchase footage.
